It was a flying saucer and she was a catgirl

Clee_Hill ๐Ÿšซ

Really vague details for this one, something that I have only a distant memory of (and it might not have even been from here, or perhaps on one of the sister sites).

As far as I can remember, it was scifi, I think it might have been something of an abduction story, but the human and the catgirl (captain) ended up in a relationship.

It was actually quite a gripping story that I devoured quickly and enjoyed greatly.

Any bells ringing, anyone?

Cheers

Kinda reminds me of Encounters of the Fifth(?) Kind by the slutman or something like that since it's been like a decade+ since the author pulled their stories and deleted their account, shame as they put out good stuff I liked a lot.

I've read this one too but got CRS...though I do believe it has been asked about before on the forum. Unfortunately "searching" the forum isn't available right now :(

Probably Close Encounter Of The Fifth Kind by The Slutman. No longer on SOL.

Close Encounter Of The Fifth Kind

Praise be to my paranoia about backing things up. Just found it in my 'archives'.
And there was a 'revised' version too which apparently tones things down a little.

Cheers all

@mmmkof

Do you have a name for it? I never got into Leiber so know nothing other than his name.

@Clee_Hill

I'd start off looking at his Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser Series. I read one of those books (5 - Lankhmar) around 50 years ago and my memory of the plot is not quite as good as it could be.

I remember reading A Pail of Air. He might be on Gutenberg.

Fritz Lieber's "The Wanderer", I think.
