This is a well-written masterful piece from the view point of a young child as he starts to do something that he knows he's not supposed to do. The child's perceptions of adults and the events around him were familiar and reminded me of my own childhood.
I was drawn into this suspenseful tale and the author held me on the edge of my seat until the last period. That's great story-telling in my book.
