We had to wait a wee while for this splendid sequel to Human Phoenix. If you have not done so, I suggest that you read that one first. Everything will make much more sense.
This is a truly excellent tale, following Scott as he returns from his final tour of duty in the marines. As we have come to expect from Mr. R, the plot is well thought out, the use of language good and the characters both well drawn and realistic.
No, I am not going to tell you what happens. Go ahead and read it. It is well worth every second you spend on it.
Mr. R, I hope that you are busy writing some else for our future delectation.
