Pantheon 2's chapter 13 is in the moderator queue right now and should be up tonight, enjoy!
Chapter 14 is in the hopper and I'm sitting on it for just a little bit longer because... I'm writing my climax and conclusion this weekend!
I got my rough sketch while out on a work trip this week (plus all the notes I had the last year) and now I'm down to writing scenes on index cards, ordering appropriately, and then typing it all up. Once that's done it's off to the beta for review and then posting.
Sorry, that's a look at how it "make the sausage" as it were. It's a longer process then just dreaming up hot sex scenes and scribbling it down as soon as I'm done.
Anywho... a few more weeks of work and editing and it'll all be wrapped up.

Hey, ya'll! I have chapters 12-14 written and edited. Chapter 12 is in the review queue now. I'll release one per week to try and build myself a pad as I finish this up. For anyone who saw Avengers Infinite War, you'll know what I mean by new end note.

Howdy all!
I know it's been a woefully long time since I updated P2 and I'm an asshole because I have two chapters but I'm sitting on them. I realized between finishing them and getting edits back from my fabulous beta that it needed an additional chapter before those two. I also have some action-y pieces that need to be inserted into what's currently chapter 13. While I could post 12/13 right now, I think it would give you a lower quality story arc, missing some of the key "aha!" moments and a good look at how things work. Hopefully, you all understand. I intend to get the in between chapter cranked out today and with a little luck with have something worthy of your reading by next weekend.
Side note: for those of you who have read "Memorial Day: Human and Heroic," we held a second memorial service for the crew I referenced in that piece as yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the crash. It was a short and bittersweet event that reminded us that we all write a check to the American people, valued at one human life, and hope it's never cashed.

As of yesterday afternoon, I'm back in the land of bacon, beer, and freedom! As I had feared, my internet downrange did not allow me to access SO but it was really nice to come back and see all the messages ya'll left me. I truly appreciate the support.
How's Pantheon II? Glad you asked! In my rare free time (6.5 day work weeks sucks donkey nuts) I managed to plunk out two more chapters but was unable to send anything to my beta so I'm still a ways out from putting anything new up. Fortunately, Uncle Sam realizes what a shit show deployments are and I get the next two weeks to fuck around and write without having to go to work. I should be able to wind down and get some words on paper.
So, TL;DR, thanks for the encouragement, I'm home safe, new content in a bit.

Its nearing midnight and I'm sitting in the only operating bar in BWI. In uniform. With a martini in one hand and a bacon slandered burger in the other. Since I'm about to go on bacon and alcohol probabtion, it's a good way to finish out my time on US soil.

I'm also staring down a bottle of Svedka and wondering how I'm going to incorporate Russian Jumpers into the plot. I might not get there this novel. I've been chewing it over for six damn weeks and can't find a good point to put them in. My amazing beta, SpiralBound, and I have gone over some of the hooks in the story and despite his usual Herculean efforts to get my stories to a readable state, I just can't find a way.

Anyway, morning half drunk, rambling diatribe aside, I'm out for a few months. I've got my trusty laptop and notebook so I'll keep the story going as much as possible but it might get tough.
Thanks for all the support and encouragement, it's been a bright spot in a tough deployment spin up. I'm grateful for all of you and that I have the privilege of serving a nation filled with such fantastic human beings.
